The house had allegedly been the scene of paranormal disturbances for quite some time. She also informed us that other homes along the same street had also experienced paranormal activity and she had unearthed some interesting facts relating to the paranormal activity said to be taking place there prior to our arrival. The pre-conclusion at the time was that some type of localized interactive disturbance was taking place. Therefore, the identity of the apparition or apparitions remained unknown but hopefully during the investigation we would uncover their identity. As for the disturbances, they seemed to be low in frequency and of low severity and the occupier is not bothered by the incidents, she feels that whatever it is or whoever it is means them no harm. Spirits can make their presence known in a variety of ways.

The primary issue appears to be the amount of energy the spirit has to work with. The presence of a spirit with a relatively high amount of energy available to it can be quite obvious, whereas a low energy spirit can produce only very subtle and often quite subjective indications of its existence. The effects generated range from a simple feeling in the observer's mind to a real, solid entity capable of full interaction with our world. The latter obviously requires the most energy, as a full alteration of its matter attributes has taken place. The former, on the other hand, requires the lesser amount of energy as only the mind of the observer is affected by a telepathic impression. A lot of the time, however, the spirit will manifest in other ways. It can generate smells, cold spots, magnetic disturbances, move physical objects or actually appear to observers in the more typical wispy ghost-like form. A high level manifestation will range from a slightly transparent to an absolutely solid entity. They are quite rare, but they do exist. In some cases, the spirit aspect is not apparent until they suddenly vanish.

The Investigation

On our arrival at this home the group sat down with the lady of the house and listened to her account of all the paranormal activity she had experience there over the last few years. She had also brought in her friend and neighbour who was also experiencing paranormal activity at her home, the two women gave a full description of the type of activity they had both been experiencing. They both felt that this haunting was prevalent along the whole street, and not just their homes. The group medium and Jim went upstairs with the K2 Meters to try and make contact with any spirit in the bedrooms. Andrea, Kate, and Lorraine used the Ouija Board in an effort to bring through any entity that wanted to talk. Upstairs the K2 meters started to flash when questions were asked. Our medium brought through two young children, one gave his name as Robert and the other gave the name Philip, Robert was looking for his brother. Although surnames had been given we obviously can't divulge these children's names. Both these young children had died in a tragic fire some years earlier.

Again dates had been given for this tragic event but we feel that we are unable to divulge this information. Another spirit that came through was a coalminer and he gave his name as Albert Jones he was called Bert by all his friends, he claimed to be a borer at the colliery. Tragically Albert had died in the 1934 Gresford pit disaster aged 31 along with some of his friends that also lived close by and also walk the area. He gave the names, Albert Strange, and William Lawrence. On joining the girls back in the living room with the Ouija Board we established that a miner by the name of Edward Davies had come through, he had also been killed in the Gresford pit disaster on Sept. 22nd 1934 and he said knew of the other miners and confirmed that this house or where the house had once stood belonged to Albert.

Edward he was only 18 when he lost his life because he gave his birth as February 19th 1916. Although other children's names came out we thought it wrong to name them in this report so the names remain with the occupier of the house. Children have 35% more brainpower than adults, enabling kids to see spirits. A child's brainpower and intuitive capacity allow a child to view far more than us adults. In addition we may be raised in cultures that don't acknowledge any reality other than physical realities. Most adults don't see entitys that the general culture does not recognize. If they were raised in cultures that do - they would.

In the early years 2-5 or 6, the brain has not distilled enough to distinguish between conception/perception that is inner generated and outer generated. It is usually during this time that young children experience and develop relationships with invisible friends - what we might call spirits. The conclusion we have to be careful when doing a report especially when full names are given to our mediums by any spirits present at a haunted location. If they have passed over within living memory their relatives might still be living in the area, which of course could cause a lot of unnecessary distress to their family. Not one bad spirit was found; indeed they seemed quite happy living with the streets residents.

At the end of the investigation only one wanted to cross over and that was coalminer Edward Davies, so we sent him over to his family and friends who will welcome him. When we die it's as if we were going through a curtain which separates the world of the living from that of the dead. But not everyone wants to pass through to the other side, not everyone is aware that they are no longer alive. Usually this applies to people who have died sudden deaths or when they were drugged - under the influence of alcohol, anesthetic, or drugs. Those who sinned greatly in their lives also have no desire to pass through to the other side because, after all, they are in no hurry because they don't know what awaits them, in short they are afraid.

Free will, even after death, many of those that have passed on have guides who come out to them to lead them to the Light. But people retain their free will even after death - You can ask them politely to leave but if they don't want to leave this world then no-one can force them to do so. And it's with lost souls like these who don't know what to do with themselves that mediums have most trouble. Most of the early Spiritualists agree that there is no great change with the spirit body; it is lighter and more responsive to commands of will. Spiritual bodies are young and beautiful; age, infirmities, and injuries are no longer visible, although bodies are not of material flesh and blood, they still feel solid and real. Spirits can assume their earth identity in order to be recognized, although it may require skill.

A spirit has more power to appear immediately after death than later on when it becomes completely separated from physical matter. We do not escape from ourselves when we leave our bodies; neither do we gain all knowledge immediately. Death is viewed as the birth of the soul, which retains the mind, knowledge, experience, habits of thought, and inclinations that one had on earth. There is no loss of memory; ties and affections are the same, as are the moral and intellectual status of the individual. After death, the mind continues to think and has the same identity and attributes; the same emotions are experienced. Changing the texture of the body does not mean that one immediately becomes all wise. Even though the surroundings are better, there is no sudden perfection.

As we are in the spirit body, we continue to develop special talents and interests and to grow and progress in our development. Free will is never over-ridden, just as on earth. All experiences of love, compassion, and kindness are the basis of life in the spirit world. The longer you are on the spiritual plane, the happier you become. The longer that you live on earth, the less you have to learn of it in the spirit world, and can therefore pass on to higher studies. It is easier to do your work on earth and have time to cast aside errors and vices.
